Founded by 7 South Auckland high school students in 2017, YTech NZ is a non-profit organisation that connects their fellow youth with the tech industry, created in partnership with CreateOps. Having grown to a team of 12, YTech consists of young people passionate about delivering events that bring awareness to the potential in which emerging technologies carry. Following the success of their events ‘YTech: Walking on Mars’ and ‘AI: The World of Tomorrow’, YTech NZ continues to provide insight into STEM pathways and hopes to expand nationwide in the future — especially to rural and underrepresented communities.
