Kia ora, Kia orana
Ko wai ahau
Ko Maungakawa te Maunga
Ko Topehaehae te awa
Ko Tainui te waka
Ko Ngati Hauā te hapū
Ko Kai-a-te-mata te Marae
I whakapapa Māori and Rarotongan. I was born in Otautahi and grew up in rural areas of Te Waipounamu. I currently live in Oxford, North Canterbury with my whānau, my husband and our four daughters.
I love learning more of my indigenous culture and have been on this learning path for quite some time. It has been a dream of mine to be in an environment and community that thrives in Te Ao Māori. It's time to share what I have learnt over the years and bring communities together through identity, language and the sacred art form of weaving.
Mauri ora!!
