Putting earth first so we can thrive.
Terra Nova is an environmental change not-for-profit based on wisdom, insight and science – establishing what the catalysts are for our future and how we can bring about that change. Set up in 2021 to respond to the urgent need for environmental action, the organisation implements a range of projects to ensure we put our earth first in everything we do so we can all thrive.
Our work includes:
- Helping people make everyday 'earth first' changes both at home and at work
- Restoring critical native ecosystems, both on land and in water
- Providing support and educational opportunities for young change-makers
- Implementing collective action for large-scale transformative change
- An environmental podcast 'Earth Talks' interviewing local and global experts
We also have an all-engaging eco festival, Te Ao Earth Week, to celebrate spring, raise awareness and invite individuals, businesses and communities to take 'earth first' action. We are based in Aotearoa New Zealand and share our work internationally, joining and inspiring effective action around the world.
