Place Management NSW owns and manages The Rocks to ensure this iconic heritage location, situated between the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, remains a leader in retail experience internationally. The precinct is comprised of 26 hectares adjoining the Sydney Harbour, with prime access to the CBD and all modes of transport. Over 15 million people visit The Rocks each year, and the precinct contributes $400 million per year to the NSW visitors’ economy. Place Management NSW also manages 207 leases, 67 licences and 200 market stall holders in The Rocks. The weekly Rocks Markets reflects the precinct’s brand by offering visitors a selection of bespoke, handmade and individual products and experiences. The Rocks is also home to a range of creative commercial enterprises.
