Ocean Shores for Refugees was established following the fall of Kabul to the Taliban in order to join the Community Refugee Sponsorship Program (CRSA). CRSA provides community support to help welcome and settle refugees into a community. We are under the umbrella of Ballina Region for Refugees (BR4R), which is a registered charity. BR4R provides a range of support to refugees, which you can read about on their website https://br4r.org.au/. Funds raised from OS4R first event will be used to support any families that are matched with us for support. If not families are matched to our group, our funds will be used to support the broader work of BR4R.
