Founder, Men of the Mountain

Host, The Wyrd Way Podcast

Men’s Coach | Mentor | Facilitator | Speaker

Dean Bentley is a mentor, speaker, and community builder who has dedicated his

life to helping men reconnect with what it means to live fully - emotionally, spiritually, and

purposefully.

As the founder of Men of the Mountain, a leader, mentor and host of The Wyrd

Way podcast, Dean’s work centres on breaking cycles of isolation and burnout, and guiding

men toward richer, more connected lives.

Dean’s passion for this work is deeply personal. After graduating with honours in Mechanical

Engineering and seemingly having everything lined up for professional success, he found

himself feeling unfulfilled, anxious, and disconnected. Through therapy, men’s groups, and

spiritual exploration, he began the process of healing - and found his calling in helping others

do the same. Rather than hide his struggles, Dean shares them openly, believing that

vulnerability is where real transformation begins.

Today, Dean works with men from all walks of life - through one-on-one mentoring,

immersive retreats, weekly circles, and group coaching. He has been a lead facilitator at The

Gathering of Men, has guided sessions at Manhood Retreat with Men’s Wellbeing, and has

supported countless others on their journey toward emotional resilience, self-leadership, and

authentic masculinity.

His approach blends depth and playfulness, structure and spirit. Whether guiding a men’s

circle in the forests of Tamborine Mountain or speaking on stage to a national audience,

Dean brings curiosity, integrity, and a grounded energy that creates space for genuine

change.

In March 2026, Dean will bring his expertise to the Multi-Species Farming Conference &

Retreat Series alongside Tamzin Revell, Kevin Elmy, and Rachelle Armstrong. As part of this

unique four-location event, Dean will lead Men’s Circle sessions — safe, supportive spaces

where men in agriculture can reflect, release, and reconnect with themselves and each

other.
