Antidismal was born from a close study of Aussie musicians like Courtney Barnett and King Gizzard who laid the blueprint for an artist/label-owner duality. Similar to the growth of new wave, and the NYC underground scene, the importance of growing a community to strengthen the quality and the reach of your artistry is crucial. As well as utilising engagement with young people creating an organic fanbase from the ground up. Our focuses are reviving the youth scene to its full potential through showcasing and promoting the talent of local artists and bands. Due to the industry overshadowing the under eighteen scene, Antidismal is here to bring light onto the community. Putting on all ages shows and fostering youth based sound. We are firm believers in the live music business and first established in 2022. In May of 2024 Anti-Dismal became an official record label after partnering with GYROstream and DistroDirect  the largest independent distributor in Australasia.
