We are an old time string band based in southern Tasmania. Ross leads the band on fiddle and vocals with Margaret on guitar, Jackie on banjo-uke and Annette on banjo, together we dish up a mix of old time and contemporary tunes and songs for concerts, bush or contra dancing with a focus on Ross’s original fiddle tunes.

The band plays concerts along with bush, square and contra dances for both the Tasmanian Folk Federation, corporate and private functions.
As a band we also organise regular community bush dances with Ross calling and with the band sometimes switching from a 4 piece (Up Jumped Trouble) to an 8 piece (5 Miles from Town) string band.
