The University of the Sunshine Coast Art Gallery is a space where art, ideas and community come together. Located at the UniSC Sunshine Coast campus, the Art Gallery was redeveloped in 2020 establishing itself as the leading public gallery in the region.
The Art Gallery presents a program of exhibitions by leading local, national and international artists that are research-led, enquiry based and shaped by the university’s commitment to enabling opportunities for our communities to participate meaningfully with UniSC. The exhibition program is supported by an active publishing program that generates new scholarship as well as public programs and educational activities such as lectures, symposia, seminars, workshops and performances that offer opportunities for our diverse communities to access contemporary art and its ideas.
The Art Gallery is also responsible for the University of the Sunshine Coast Art Collection. At over 1000 works—and with many displayed across UniSC’s multi-campus network—it is a culturally significant asset for the region.
