Mainline

Mainline has been running techno events since 2004 - in clubs, warehouses, and other random spaces. Sometimes regularly. Sometimes very sporadic. We only ever fill a need that isn't being satiated. We've toured international artists but always nurtured, promoted, and supported local talent. Mainline aims to provide timeless, inclusive, and immersive electronic environments filled with colour, movement, strobes, and smoke machines. Spaces where dancers can lose themselves while forming connections and experiencing something new. We want people to come together in a melting pot of culture and diversity. This is when the magic is created. Previous events have featured Jeff Mills, Claire Morgan, Speedy J, Chris Liebing, Ben Sims, Deetron, Justin Berkovi, DJ Bone, DJ Misjah, DJ Ajax (RIP), Richie Hawtin, Thomas Schumacher, Technasia, Steve Rachmad, The Sentinal, Industrialyzer, Elektrochemie LK, Ben Cromack, Seymour Butz, Simon Caldwell, Kate Doherty, Biz, Typhonic, Mark Murphy, Ken Cloud, N-Zed, G-Mo, Phil Smart, and many more. Starting as a purely techno affair, in recent years Mainline’s musical palette has expanded to also focus on acid house, electro and other flavours of broken beats. This incarnation of Mainline will feature some of Australia’s most iconic beat-makers performing live.
