Mountaintop Mushrooms is a gourmet mushroom farm based in Montville, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland. Owners and operators, Dan and Kat, have a passion for local, nutrient dense, organic food. 6 years ago, they decided to explore how they could peruse these passions. With an existing interest in fungi, and the perfect space to start experimenting, Mountaintop Mushrooms was borne. 6 years later, this little family run farm has been through huge ups and downs, learnt so many big lessons and has come to know fungi and growing mushrooms, very intimately. It is now a well known name, when it comes to mushrooms, across the Sunshine Coast.
