Law Health Justice at UTS Faculty of Law aims to advance legal, policy, and practice responses to issues at the intersection of law and health. As a group we pursue health justice for and with populations that experience harms rooted in systemic inequities. We use diverse research methods and theoretical approaches to advance cross‐disciplinary forms of knowledge and collaborations. Our work is grounded in feminist jurisprudence and socio-legal methodologies and therefore our definition of health includes the impact of inequality and violence on health status, care, and regulation. We aim to directly inform positive changes in law, policy, and practice that reduce inequalities and improve health and justice outcomes.
