The HWLF is run by HWLF Inc,
a non-profit NGO/registered charity.
The board is made up of local artists and residents.
HWLF was initiated by Mylor artist Tony Hannan,
Hills artist's Rebecca Prince, Zinia King
and the Hahndorf Academy.
They are now joined by multi-skilled Alison Kelman,
event manager Kate Brand
and Hills artists Alisha Dyer, Leela Fletcher and Andy Ralston.
The Lantern Festival day for 2021 was a smaller event
than our prior years (due to COVID).
It was a culmination of 7 weeks of workshops
with local school students and families.
2022 will be our eighth winter festival
following the Frühlingsnacht Festival in 2015
and the Hahndorf Winter Lantern Festival
in August 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021
