For 50 years, the Rotary Club of Stirling has served the local community and supported youth and community groups and those in need, throughout the district, Australia and overseas.
Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from Polio, a paralyzing disease. Australian Rotary Health provides funding into four focus areas; General Health, Mental Health Research and in Indigenous and Rural Medicine and Nursing Scholarships. With more than 113 million people around the world displaced by natural disasters and conflict, Shelterbox, a Rotary initiative is providing emergency shelter and tools for families in despair.
