We have secured Samantha from Ohhhh Bulldust to run a workshop making her brilliant knitted blankets on Saturday 24th September from 10 am to 4 pm. It will be held at the Oberne Hall.
Sam is a terrific speaker and has the talent of bringing people together as people sit and knit and learn a new skill. Read about Sam here: https://ohhbulldust.myshopify.com/blogs/welcome-to-my-mind-oh-and-my-new-blog/2-it-happened-it-all-f-king-happened
This opportunity has been supported by Murrumbidgee Catchment Keepers working with and supporting women on farms across the Murrumbidgee Catchment to develop skills in environmental management.
For this reason we will have a guest speaker Louise Freckleton. Louise Freckelton and David Bray are the owners of Highfield Farm and Woodland, a property situated in Adelong, approximately 70km east of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. The property is a small-scale farm, dedicated conservation area and eco-friendly tourist accommodation, and it is Louise and David’s intent to maintain the property for these purposes. Two-thirds of Highfield Farm and Woodland are protected with a Conservation Agreement and the property is also registered with Land for Wildlife.
The day is free and will be catered for by Vanessa Jacka catering company.
Numbers are strictly limited. First in best dressed. Book now.
