Kirrily is an artist working across basketry and textiles and has delivered award-winning creative workshops since 2018.
Through her creative projects she promotes the role of art in wellbeing, envisaging a world where people are grounded in themselves, deeply connected, and kind to each other.
She has studied textiles at The Australian National University since 2010, and learnt basket weaving from skilled non-Indigenous and First Nations practitioners. The weaving styles she teaches are either from her own ancestral traditions (the British Isles), her own innovations, or passed on with permission from her teachers.
