The events are organised and hosted by the Bega Valley Data Collective, a diverse group of individuals who are passionate about the use of community data that will help our community thrive.
The purpose of the Bega Valley Data Collective Incorporated is to provide equitable access to valuable data for our community that will enhance local decision making. To achieve this we will focus on these three objectives:
Measure
Create and maintain an accessible online place of data insights and indicators specific to the Bega Valley using wellbeing frameworks.
Inform
Engage and inform our community of the advantages of using data to make evidence-based policy and program decisions that reflect our community’s values and aspirations
Stories
Publish an online place for storytelling that promotes community led initiatives that build a stronger more resilient community and enhance our quality of life.
