The ACT Gambling and Racing Commission is an independent statutory body established under the Gambling and Racing Control Act 1999. The functions of the Commission are to administer the gaming laws and to control, supervise and regulate gaming in the ACT.
The prevention and reduction of gambling harm are core objectives of the Commission, as outlined in the Strategy for Gambling Harm Prevention in the ACT - A Public Health Approach.
