Adam's accidentally discovered permaculture when he was living in Thailand in 2011. Filled with a sudden sense of possibility and excitement he spent a couple years living on permaculture farms and in permaculture communities in Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.

In 2017 he discovered Syntropic Agroforestry which is a specific methodology for creating food forests. He maintains the list of English language Syntropy resources, and is a moderator of the NZ Permaculture and the international Syntropic Agroforestry Facebook groups.

He spends too much time on the computer and not enough time in the garden.
