The Adamson Theatre Company, based at Wesley College's St Kilda Road Campus, is a dynamic student theatre company. Operating from the historic Adamson Hall—a professional-grade venue with seating for over 500—the company offers students from Years 5 to 12 opportunities to engage in all facets of theatre production.
Each year, the company stages 4 productions, encompassing a mix of musicals and plays. Recent performances have included Little Shop of Horrors, Matilda Junior, The Addams Family, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Noises Off & The 39 Steps . The program emphasises a professional approach, providing students with real-world theatre experience and fostering skills such as time management, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
The Adamson Theatre Company has a strong track record of nurturing talent, with alumni progressing to prestigious institutions like the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), and pursuing careers in stage and on screen.
