Sonja is the Principal of Adelaide Narrative and is appreciated for supporting Narrative theory and practice among students and fellow practitioners, in a very client focused way, while at the same time she fiercely advocates for political and systems change wherever possible. She is an associate editor with the Australian & New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy.
Adelaide Narrative Therapy Collective are working practitioners opening up accountability conversations with clients, and continuously reviewing and counter-viewing our conversations through client's hopes and actions in their lives. Our therapeutic and theoretical practice is closely aligned to the work of Michael White co-creator of Narrative Therapy (Adelaide based) and Alan Jenkins & co (also Adelaide based) on Invitational practice and restorative justice with violence and abuse.
