The African Caribbean Education Network (ACEN) is a national network of Black parents, students, teachers, and professionals seeking to address inequity and racial justice by enhancing access and experiences in education and workplaces where there is an underrepresentation of young Black people.
We have a national network of over 8000 Black parents, students, teachers, and professionals, and our network also consists of engaged schools, universities, companies, and professionals registered to receive racially equitable opportunities on behalf of Black members of their communities.
In addition, we train, consult and work with schools, universities, and private organisations (over 15,000 students, teachers and professionals trained to date with an average feedback score of 9.4 out of 10) in areas such as racial equality, racial literacy, microaggressions and the business case for racial inclusion specific to the industry or setting engaged with.
