Meet Alessandra...
Alessandra is a lifelong educator, practitioner and forever student, with more than 30 years of teaching experience. Raised within a lineage of women healers, her Brazilian and European roots shaped an early connection to nature, traditional practices and holistic ways of living. This foundation has continued to evolve through her lifelong exploration of yoga, Ayurveda, food, sound, creativity and the natural rhythms of life.
Her path includes Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyoga, with a 500-hour training rooted in the teachings of Krishnamacharya at The Yoga Institute in Sydney, as well as Reiki, massage, meditation, Ayurvedic and macrobiotic cooking, and many years of experiential learning. Over 20 years immersed in Steiner education, teaching and later working internationally as an educational consultant have deeply influenced her understanding of nurturing the whole human being — body, mind, creativity, spirit and connection with nature.
Through Sana Wellness, Alessandra weaves these many threads together through yoga, Ayurveda-inspired lifestyle practices, sound, meditation and retreats. Her approach is grounded, intuitive and spacious, creating gentle opportunities for rest, reconnection and self-awareness. Living by the ocean, surrounded by surfing, art and family, she continues to learn from the same source that has guided her throughout her life: nature, experience and an enduring curiosity for what helps us flourish.
