The All It Takes (AIT) Project, operating under the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (YACWA), is providing a series of free FIPV primary prevention workshops for the youth sector.
AIT is a peer-based education pilot project that aims to address the gendered drivers of violence against women and the factors that reinforce them. The project provides young people and the youth sector with the skills to build healthy behaviours across relationships, aiming to reduce young people’s likelihood of using and experiencing violence. All resources are made by young people, for young people, and are evidence based.
Within this workshop series we will address the following topics:
Unpacking values
Self-esteem & emotional regulation
Healthy relationships, consent, & handling rejection
Emotional literacy & communication
Working towards equality
Unpacking gendered drivers
These sessions are suitable for all people working professionally or voluntarily with young people aged 12-25, particularly youth workers. These can be attended as standalone sessions or you may participate in the whole series.
