Allegra Monk is a rising Australian talent whose work spans acting, producing, and soulful songwriting. At 25, she brings emotional depth and creative range to every role—on screen and in the studio.
She stars as Molly Lewellyn in the global Paramount+ series The Last King of the Cross, appears in Binge’s acclaimed series Love Me, and narrated Penguin Publishing’s audiobook The Unstoppable Flying Flanagan. This year, she played the lead in John Butler’s music video Trippin On You, and stars in two award-winning short films: Before the Son, directed by Jay Peardon, and Space-Rats, produced by Praxis Pictures. Before the Son is now being developed into a feature film with support from Screenwest, with Allegra set to co-star in the leading role next year.
A graduate of the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Allegra played Ophelia in Hamlet during her final year under the direction of Sean O'Shea. Her graduation performance earned her the Lesley Anderson Award for Best Actor, recognizing her commitment to truth and vulnerability in performance.
Allegra is currently co-producing and developing Isa, a feature film directed by Kim Farrant, in which she will play the title role. Isa is a powerful, emotionally driven love story at its heart, showcasing Allegra’s passion for bold, transformative storytelling.
