Amelia Watson (they/them) is an independent performance artist who works between Australia and Europe. Born on Kaurna Land in Australia, Amelia has a detailed work history in contemporary dance, improvisation, dance theatre and puppeteering. They work to incorporate anthropological research practices into their creations and focous on artistic explorations that are relevant to audiences across the globe. Amelia is a 2020 graduate from Adelaide College of Arts, a 2023 Helpmann Academy Fellowship Recipient and a 2023 graduate of Interdisciplinary Art (dance and dramaturgy) through Anfibia Art in Bologna, Italy.
