Anat Greenberg Yariv is a Dance Movement Therapist, dance educator, performer, Pilates instructor, and facilitator with over two decades of experience working with movement, creativity, and human connection.
Now based in the Northern Rivers, Australia, Anat holds a Master of Creative Arts Therapy (Dance Movement) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Dance Education (SMKB Tel Aviv). She also trained at the School for New Dance Development (SNDO) in Amsterdam and has taught dance, Contact Improvisation, and movement practices throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Israel.
A mother of two, Anat brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. Her practice is informed by a rich range of movement disciplines including Contact Improvisation, release technique, floorwork, Authentic Movement, yoga, capoeira, acrobatics, Pilates, the Ilan Lev Method, and Butoh. She weaves these influences together with therapeutic inquiry, creativity, embodiment, and community engagement.
Anat is passionate about creating spaces where people can deepen their relationship with themselves, others, and the wisdom of the body-mind. She brings a trauma-informed, inclusive, and playful approach, supporting participants to explore movement as a source of expression, resilience, creativity, and belonging.
Alongside her therapeutic practice and teaching, Anat works as a performer, mentor, and creative adviser on community arts, performance, and interdisciplinary projects in Australia and internationally.
