I’m a proud old boy of St Pat’s (1992–96) and now a parent of two sons currently at the College, with a third starting next year. As a family, we place a strong emphasis on education — my wife Faencha is a primary school teacher, and we value both academic excellence and character development. We’re grateful that St Pat’s nurtures our boys into capable, well-rounded young men.
After graduating, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Victoria University of Wellington and spent the early part of my career in banking, including time with Westpac and Goldman Sachs in London. I’ve since held senior roles in the public service, including at Te Puni Kōkiri and the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, where I’ve worked on national policies and investment programmes focused on housing, Māori development and community wellbeing.
St Pat’s shaped my belief in service and the value of diverse friendships. It’s an honour to now serve as Presiding Member of the Board of Trustees, supporting our Rector, Mike, and the wider school community as we continue to build a future grounded in excellence, equity, and the Catholic values that have long defined the College.
