Hailing from the UK, Andy V arrived in Australia in 2021, bringing a unique sound which captivates audiences of all ages. As a live looping multi-instrumentalist, his repertoire combines the saxophone, keyboards with his signature loop station which combines various music styles across Dub/Reggae, Electro Swing, Drum and Bass and more.
Andy draws on his years of experience, including supporting beat box legend Dub Fx as keys/sax player and live looper, to bring a highly dynamic 'one man band', guaranteed to get the crowd dancing long into the evening.
Highly influenced from acts such as Fat Freddy's Drop, The Cat Empire, Dub Fx, The Black Seeds, Gentleman's Dub Club as well as DJ/Producers, Shy Fx, Benny Page, Ed Solo and Deekline, the "Andy V" live show takes audiences on a truly memorable listening experience driven by his passion to perform and connect with like minded people.
His work alongside fellow Aussie artists The Cat Empire, The Black Seeds, The Funk Hunters and Opiou has led him to become well known for his show full of live looped energy, imagination and dance vibes.
Since Andy's return to Australia in early 2021, he's hit the ground running performing at festivals including Island Vibe, Earth Frequency, Elements, Pranafest and Zenfest.
