A purpose-built animal intensive care unit Pet ICU is one of the only stand-alone dedicated animal ICUs in Australia. Dr Ellie Leister and the team of intensive care vets and nurses look after critical patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The team also run their own blood bank program to administer life-saving transfusions.
