Living in Exeter, Devon (UK), the viscerally-ancient lands of Dartmoor and the generous ecology of the Jurassic Coast shape my enquiries into ecological-ness as material reality and mystery.
After authoring Ecological Organisations: A Design Lens and the underlying reimagined story of ecological organisations, released under Creative Commons, a whole new world has opened up that I'm loving exploring: humans and organisations as ecological. As edged and edge-less, whole and dependent, of relationship and interbeing, and wonderfully and irreparably entangled within social systems, ecosystems, the more-than-human, and this planet.
I am also developing Ecological Enquiry, one of many routes that can bring us an embodied knowing of the relationality, complexity, and interbeing that we are entangled within. I write about my work and related subjects in the substack Ecological Us and am the founder and co-steward of the Facilitation Pods Commons.
