I’m determined to keep Pete’s vibrant spirit alive! In his honour, I’ll be riding from Airlie Beach to Port Douglas in May 2025 to raise as much money as possible for cancer research. Pete was my best friend, an avid cyclist, my partner, and a truly beautiful person. Tragically, he lost his battle with cancer in November 2022, just 11 days after our son’s first birthday. He fought with incredible courage.
I’m privileged to ride Pete’s bike for the tour, and I know he’d be so chuffed. This Signature Tour bike ride will be a significant challenge for me, but it carries a huge purpose: to help fund vital cancer projects. I’m aiming to raise $12,000 and would greatly appreciate your support.
