ANnew is the artistic identity of Melbourne artist Elizabeth Sigston, whose work explores nature, symbolism and the human experience through Symbolic Realism and Expressive Abstraction.
Drawing on her background as a surgeon and her own experiences of change, Elizabeth creates paintings that invite reflection on the qualities that sustain and connect us—from courage and resilience to gratitude, compassion and joy. Botanical forms, expressive colour and layered symbols offer space for personal interpretation.
