Antonia Pont is a Senior Teacher with Yoga Australia and the founded (since 2009) of Vijnana Yoga Australia, where she teaches, mentors and leads retreats. She has written extensively on yoga-related topics, such as meditation, breathing, asana and study. Her book A Philosophy of Practising (EUP 2021) explores central aspects of practising such as habit, transformation, steadiness, creativity, change and relaxation. She teaches weekly classes in Naarm, in Melbourne's inner north. She has trained in Australia, India, Germany and Switzerland, and continues to study with the founder of Vijnana Yoga, Orit Sen Gupta. Her experience spans three decades and she brings a mixture of relaxed rigour and steady good humour to the mat, cushion, with an eye to how we integrate yoga into real life.
