The AquaPura Project is an NZ initiative to provide safe water to disadvantaged communities around the world by unlocking the underserved potential of women and girls to install and maintain clean water installations.
AquaPura Project's key vision is to break the cycle of poverty through clean water projects. By educating women and girls in technical water installation skills, we directly combat inequality while creating economic opportunity, as well as flexible and dignified employment for women and girls in essential water services.
We welcome partnerships from organisations that will fund installations, and passionate volunteers committed to delivering safe and dignified water projects around the world.
Our 3 main annual campaigns coincide with the following global events:
-International Day of the Girl (11 October)
-International Womens Day (8 March)
-World Water Day (22 March)
