Art of Wood NZ is New Zealand’s premier annual nationwide wood art competition and exhibition, organised by the National Association of Woodworkers NZ.
Celebrating creativity and craftsmanship in wood, the competition is open to makers, craftspeople and wood artists from all woodworking disciplines and experience levels, from amateur to professional.
Art of Wood NZ is primarily an online competition and exhibition, making it accessible to makers throughout New Zealand. Following judging and the opening of the online exhibition, a series of in-person exhibitions gives makers the opportunity to connect and the public the chance to experience the craftsmanship up close.
You can explore the full 2026 exhibition online at www.artofwood.nz.
