Founded in 2023, Arthouse Selective is an independent curatorial arts project based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. We are dedicated to a positive impact on the artistic community by supporting creatives from diverse backgrounds, with a particular focus on local and emerging artists.
By breaking down barriers to recognition, we aim to spotlight artists and their practices, celebrating creativity in all its forms.
With this endeavour in mind, we take a unique approach to exhibitions and events. By selecting non-traditional spaces to present artworks, we cultivate environments where everyone is welcomed, irrespective of their background or artistic affiliations. By doing so, we ensure that art becomes accessible and approachable, eradicating the idea of exclusivity that has long overshadowed the creative community.
