Newstead Arts Hub, Newstead Live Folk Festival, The RedShed Arts Workshop and Newstead Young Writers Festival have identified three key areas for collaboration: better management and care of volunteers, greater coordination of programming, and building partnerships while sharing resources for events and activities.
From this collaboration, Arts Newstead has emerged.
Arts Newstead is a board made up of representatives from the four organisations, along with selected members bringing expertise in areas such as governance. Its aim is to strengthen the connections between Newstead’s arts organisations and help ensure that the community’s creative activities remain sustainable into the future.
