Hey, I'm Asher. I'm 16 and I've been exploring Primitive Skills and Nature Connection since I was 6 when I went to my first ever Bluegum Bushcraft Camp run by Lee Trew and Gina Chick (the very first winner of Alone Australia).
At 13 I went to Nature 1, a primitive skills program for adults by Kate Rydge and Sam Robertson of Nature Philosophy, as an initiation into manhood.
Since then I've had extensive 1:1 private mentoring with Lee Trew, worked as a teen mentor at both Bluegum Bushcraft and Nature Philosophy's family camps. Worked as support staff for Nature 1 and been taken under the wing of Gina Chick.
All of my mentors have learnt through Tom Brown Jr in the lineage of Stalking Wolf and this is also the foundation of my connection to nature and primitive skills.
