Ashleigh is the Senior Pastor at Encounter Church Brisbane, alongside her husband Andrew. They and their 4 children moved to the Brisbane Bayside 2 years ago after God stirred them to say yes to something new. Ash and Andy have been pastoring together for 11 years and in ministry together for almost 16. Ashleigh has hosted a number of events over the years and has been part of many women's conferences; but this is the first one she has coordinated. Her heart is to see women come together in friendship as sisters in Christ. To create a space where they can laugh, to cry, to be vulnerable and open to what the Holy Spirit wants to do in each woman who gathers. When God gave her the vision for this conference, it came with the name 'The Retreat,' as an invitation to step away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and to meet with God in the secret place. Her hope is that this conference will not only be really fun, but greatly refreshing to each person who attends.
