The Association for the Promotion of International Law's (APIL) first project aims to:

  • brief federal, state and territory parliamentarians, relevant staffers and parliamentary journalists, senior public servants and members of the public on the international law governing occupation and conflict, including obligations of third states such as Australia

  • draw public and media attention to Australia’s legal obligations under international law, including responsibilities relating to genocide and war crimes.
