The concept of Astha Nepali Hindu Society to build a temple of Lord Shree Pashupatinath Temple (ANHSV-PN) Victoria was born after the extensive consultation and feedback from the community under the initiative of Dr Raju Adhikari, Janak Raj Gautam, and Lal Prasad Kandel. The Astha Nepali Hindu Society of Victoria Shree Pashupatinath Temple Incorporated was then registered on 19thNovember 2022 under the Victoria’s Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012.
