The ARC Centre of Excellence for All Sky Astrophysics in 3 Dimensions (ASTRO 3D) commenced in July 2017 and is a Research Centre of Excellence led by the Australian National University (ANU) from its Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics at Mt Stromlo Observatory outside Canberra.
Our Vision is to unlock the mysteries of the Universe using innovative 3D technology and wonder of astronomy to inspire the broader community.
Our Mission is to propel Australia to the forefront of astronomical research by combining Australia's radio, optical and theoretical expertise to understand the origins of our Universe and the galaxies within it.
We will train future Australian astronomers to lead breakthrough science on the next generation of telescopes.
We will also share our discoveries and passion for research with the broadest possible audience and inspire the scientists of the future.
