Since 1986 the Australian Association of Bush Regenerators has worked with bush regenerators, land managers and agencies who use the skills of bush regenerators.
AABR promotes and encourages best practice on-ground restoration, so that we can protect, repair and manage Australia’s native bushland, which means we’re contributing to maintaining vibrant, healthy, sustainable ecosystems across Australia that benefit people and nature.
We’re the only organisation that offers accreditation for professional and volunteer practitioners that focuses on recognising the unique skill set required of people carrying out best practice, on-ground ecological restoration working with resilience.
We provide networking and educational opportunities by hosting field trips, workshops, forums, AABR Fest and online learning opportunities on best practice case studies via regenTV.
By supporting the bush regeneration community through ongoing education, we are equipping planners, funders, legislators and practitioners with best practice knowledge in a rapidly changing field, that’s at the forefront of addressing climate change impacts on biodiversity and ecosystem integrity.
