AWE has an international mission to showcase New Zealand music and creativity, exposing audiences to music less heard or discovered, while building pathways for collaboration and movement of established and emerging artists and composers between Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the world.
AWE aims to connect audiences and musicians of different backgrounds and generations through performances featuring leading international artists side-by-side aspiring musicians, to inspire and share the most intimate form of music with audiences and local communities.
