The 12th Annual Banks Peninsula Walking Festival runs between February 22 and March 14, 2025.
The programme for the Banks Peninsula Walking Festival will be released 9am on 5 February and ticket sales go live 8am 6 February, 2025 (Waitangi Day).
The Banks Peninsula Walking Festival (BPWF) is an annual event and is a project of the Rod Donald Banks Peninsula Trust.
The festival aims to promote the healthy activity of walking and in Banks Peninsula in particular as a walking destination. BPWF offers guided walks varying from short strolls in urban areas to full-day tramps to more remote locations. The walks are open to the general public who must book in advance and pay a small fee to participate. The guides are volunteers with local knowledge of the walk they run.
