Bay & Basin Bush Potters Incorporated is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community pottery group that has been bringing people together through clay since 1994. Based at the Sanctuary Point Community Arts Cottage, we provide an affordable, welcoming and supportive space for people of all experience levels to explore ceramics, learn new skills and create alongside others.
Our members range from complete beginners and hobby potters to experienced ceramicists and former art teachers, with knowledge and techniques shared freely across the group. We offer access to kilns, pottery wheels, slip-casting moulds, glazes, underglazes and hand-building equipment, while also exploring different ceramic techniques and firing methods.
At the heart of Bay & Basin Bush Potters is our belief in Clay, Community and Connection. We aim to keep participation accessible, encourage creativity and learning, and provide a friendly community space where people can make, share, connect and belong.
