Beechworth Cook Book Club was born from a love of cooking, community and friendship.
What started as small gatherings around kitchen tables — sharing meals, swapping recipes and lingering over good conversation — has grown into something we wanted to share with the wider community.
Our seasonal gatherings bring people together around a chosen cookbook. Guests select a recipe, prepare a dish to share, and join us at the table for an afternoon of delicious food, connection and conversation.
There's no competition and no pressure to be an expert cook. It's simply about the joy of cooking for others, discovering new recipes, meeting new people and celebrating the role food plays in bringing communities together.
Whether you come with friends or arrive on your own, you'll find a welcoming seat at the table.
Four seasonal gatherings each year. One long table. Plenty of good food and great company.
