Bellingen Shire Council and NSW National Parks and Wildlife will be hosting this free education event to learn more about our local shorebirds and how we can all share the shore and interact with the birds in a positive way.
The event will begin at 9.30am with some educational talks and a walk with Discovery ranger and very knowledgeable 'twitcher' Andrew Turbill
Morning Tea will be provided and a treat for your dog will also be included.
Meet at Hungry Head upper carpark. An education stall will be set up either on the headland or in the park dependent on the wind.
Please bring your dogs lead, a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and binoculars if you have them
Note* Although this is a free event, we have a maximum number of 40 participants, and your pet needs to be comfortable with interacting with other dogs and humans.
