Our story began in 1986, when a group of dedicated Tablelanders came together to create a community organisation offering information and advice to anyone who needed it. Over the years, we’ve expanded our services to include counselling, case management, Commonwealth Home Support Modifications and Maintenance, a Children's Contact Centre and community centre, yet our core vision has always stayed the same: strengthening community through the services we provide.
2026 is the 40th anniversary of Strengthening Community and we are celebrating our history and future where we will continue to be Better Together, by supporting the Tableland and surrounding communities.
